I’ve been to many romantic destinations on my travels and long haul honeymoons remain one of my favourite topics to write about in the media. Planning for your honeymoon is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting events in life. And with everything from mini-moons to European cities, to traditional two-week beach breaks and longer – perhaps more intrepid – ‘mega-moons’, we’re spoilt for choice on the ways to spend our post-nuptial holiday.
A huge proportion of newlyweds look at their honeymoon as a chance to take that once-in-a-lifetime trip to somewhere far away from home. That’s why I wrote this piece for Weather2Travel – Top 15 Long Haul Honeymoon Destinations, to provide a bit of inspiration to anyone currently at the planning stage of their long haul honeymoon.
