As you relax in the peaceful swimming pool of the St Pancras Spa, overlooked by gothic windows above, it’s hard to believe you’re just a stone’s throw away from a frantic railway station. Decorated in beautiful Victorian-style mosaic tiles, the St Pancras Spa has been tastefully designed and maintains some of the charm of the original Midland Grand Hotel that once stood here. I visited the spa to get a glimpse of the £200m restoration that was carried out on this elaborate building and to experience the sublime massage based on Lomi Lomi techniques.
