The Bridal Collection fashion show at yesterday’s London Bridal Fashion Week was not one to miss. With designs by Christine Dando bridal, Wendy Makin Couture, BellaDonna bridal, Rembo Styling Bridal, Aya Couture, Demetrios and Ellis Bridals, a great variety of styles took to the catwalk.
I was particularly drawn to the gorgeous tulle fishtails, dramatic transparent skirts and beautiful vintage looks.
Like yesterday, the catwalk shows today will alternate the Bridal Collections with the high-end luxury wedding collections. It’s great if you can see both – even if your budget doesn’t theoretically allow for you to buy the designer dress – as it provides a great source of inspiration for your wedding dress shopping overall.
Here are some of the highlights from yesterday’s Bridal Collections show…
Apologies for the shaky hand… taking photos of moving models when you’re not at the end of the catwalk is harder than it looks! I hope you’ll agree though, there were some stunning designs at the Bridal Collections show.
Part of the wedding dress journey is actually identifying what you’re looking for in a dress which can be tricky when there is such an amazing variety of designs. Sometimes, finding your perfect dress can feel like finding a needle in a haystack.
But I’ve certainly taken away one or two ideas for what I’ll be looking for in my wedding dress. I was particularly blown away by the pretty lace detailing in photos 3 and 4. Simply gorgeous.
Excited with inspiration, I left the Bridal Collections catwalk show and made a beeline to explore more of the wedding dress stands with my new found ideas.
Until next time x
