Not everyone has friends and family around them at Christmas. So when I heard about the ‘Bring Your Own Christmas’ event in London, it seemed like such a brilliant idea.
Basically, Air BnB and Grub Club have partnered to host a festive supper club that’s open to anyone looking for somewhere to go on the 25th.
They could be travellers who are away from home, people who are new to London, or simply anyone who fancies an alternative way to spend Christmas.
BYOC costs just £5 and all guests are asked to bring along a festive dish for four people and a bottle of wine. The great thing is all proceeds go to Crisis – the national charity for homeless people.
The venue is this fantastic Air BnB property that’s located in an old converted chocolate factory in London Bridge and it’s been used for all sorts of events, including fashion shoots.
The event itself is held between 12.30 and 3.30pm and spaces are limited to 40. As this post went live, spaces were all taken but you can still be added to the waiting list if you click here.
