I get an introduction to the Diamond Experience Energy Facial by Perfect 10 Mobile Beauty…
At this time of year, I think everyone has the license to indulge in a facial. The wintry weather and central heating can make your skin feel as parched as a crisp. Add to that your lack of vitamin D from the shorter and more gloomy days and general winter fatigue. You can feel like no amount of illuminator can hide the fact that your skin has seen better times.
Perfect 10 Mobile Beauty were my first point of call when I felt my skin needed a bit of TLC. Not only are they great at tailor-making your treatment to your specific needs, they are also the ideal mobile beauty service to call if you are looking to bunch up a number of treatments in one day. AND – they have just launched their brand new Diamond Experience Energy Facial – the bees knees of luxury facials. Top-to-toe winter MOT? Yes please.
As always, the knots in my back had built up and I had been very kindly gifted a Perfect 10 voucher in my goody bag at Brides The Show. So I was going to put it to good use. So after my therapist – the very lovely Paris – had set up the comfy bed, she carried out a glorious 30 minute deep tissue massage which almost put me to sleep.
Now in relaxation mode, Paris began the Diamond Experience Energy Facial by removing all of my make-up with a Natura Bissé all-in-one cleanser, applying warm cotton pads to the eye area to make sure all traces of mascara were gone. Once this was removed, she applied The Cure Hydro-Gel Toner by Natura Bissé. It was then on to an anti-ageing Enzyme Peel, to gently exfoliate the skin and reduce signs of blemishes and scars. As it’s an enzyme peel, it makes the skin feel quite itchy as it works away at ‘eating’ away dead skin cells. You do get used to the tingle though and it feels quite satisfying that it’s giving your skin a thorough clean!
As this was an express version of the usual one-hour Diamond Experience Energy Facial, Paris then ended the treatment by applying a small amount of the Natura Bissé intensive Tolerance Booster to leave my face feeling refreshed. This anti-ageing serum hydrates and protects skin while soothing any irritation (good if like me, you have sensitive skin). She made sure to massage it in really well and apply a bit of pressure to where the tension in your face builds up. She then ended the facial with an application of The Cure Cream which helps the skin feel soft and velvety, yet firm.
Aside from feeling as soft as a baby’s er, bottom, my skin felt thoroughly cleansed, plumped up and glowy.
If you go for the Diamond Experience Energy Facial at Perfect 10, you will receive all of the above, as well as a face, arm and hand massage, and additional products including the algae face mask.
This facial gave me a little boost and as the winter weather sets in, it also reminded me how important a proper beauty regime – and quality skincare products – are, at this time of year.
