Restaurant’s run by top TV chefs can be found all across London. And the next TV personality to jump into the restaurant business is Italian Gino D’Acampo.
Yes, that’s right. The I’m a celebrity, get me out of here! star opened his first pasta bar today on London’s Fleet Street. And with a focus on fresh made-to-order pasta, the Italian eaterie is focused on quick Mediterranean nosh rather than fine dining. But as well as a variety of pasta dishes, additional menu items include authentic antipasti, salads, speciality breads and Italian desserts. (Not to mention Gino’s breakfast rotolini pastries and Italian coffee – hooray!)
As well as tasty food, Gino’s aim is to make customers feel like they’ve stepped into ‘a little part of Italy’. So, he’s created a ‘market’ feel by filling the shop with all sorts of traditional Italian ingredients.
Tempted? We are! With the likes of fettucine salmone, pasta caprese and speck filled sourdough, who needs complicated cooking? Not us.
